The International Federation of the Israel Medical Association was created over 70 years ago. It comprised chapters around the world. The Canadian Chapter has been one of the most active members of this international community. Our organization continues to be dedicated to fostering collegial, professional and social relationships among our colleagues in Canada, Israel and other chapters around the world. We are especially committed to providing educational support through the provision of scholarships for medical students who wish to study in Israel. We are also a resource for Medical Residents and Fellows from Israel studying in Canada. We are delighted to report that in the last 2 years we have supported several Canadian students who are attending medical schools in Israel.
